Finding the Grove...




First, find a quiet place in your mind. This can be difficult in these times. Noise is all around. But close your eyes, and go inside yourself. Find that quiet room. It’s in there. It might take a little time to find. But it can be done if you have control over any part of your thoughts.

When you feel you are in the Center, imagine a light coming down upon you. It’s golden and filled with glittery dust. It will sparkle and enfold your spirit. Mentally raise your arms to meet it. Keep your earthly eyes closed and open our spirit eyes. Your earthly eyes cannot behold the place. It’s too beautiful to perceive.

You are surrounded by cool, thick shadows and enormous trees. There is a path that vanishes as it curves into a forest. The trees appear to make a canopy, sheltering this walk.

Enter in.

As you walk, you will feel the air embrace you. There will be the smell of rain and wind. The earth is cool under your feet. You can smell the life below the soil. The only sound are your footsteps on the leaves. The further you walk into this grove, the more Autumn appears. The light is waning, but isn’t dark. It’s as if an October twilight is upon you. As you walk deeper, you can feel the forest air embrace your skin. There is a faint aroma of clove, cinnamon, perhaps burning leaves and smoldering wood.

Then you enter a Grove.

It’s a clearing with light shining down.
The trees form a circle.
And here you can sit down right in the middle on the cool ground.

Listen.

You will only hear your Guides.
They will tell you what you need to hear at this moment.

Beyond these trees are several paths. I’m not sure where they all lead.

But I do know that the one pointing West leads to the Gates of the Autumn Sisters.
The path to the North leads to the Gates of the Winter Brothers.
The path to the East leads to the Gates of the Spring Sisters.
The path going South leads to the Gates of the Summer Brothers.

If the One you seek is sleeping,
You can still hear their whispers in their dream scape should you desire.
You know their names.
They know yours.

And now July has arrived. This is someone I know the lease, but this year I am taking the time to get to know. So far, He has brought so many treasures, and I am cherishing each one. This is usually the month of fire, and I am an Autumn child who longs for the cool days and long nights. I don't want to hurry this time, so I am paying attention to each moment, even though the moments might be warmer than I prefer. I will listen...and I know I will hear guiding words.
